I have a Sphynx cat that I inherited and as the story goes some young man purchased the cat for his girlfriend. The girls father wouldn’t let her keep it so they gave the cat to a couple who kept her locked up in a bathroom because she jumped around their house too much. She was on her way to the pound and i was asked if I wanted a cat and originally I said no until I took one look at this little creature. All I noticed were her wrinkles and with that I thought she looked just like me and that’s all it took. She is the most loving pet that anyone could want and she is free to jump wherever she wants. It helped that I was a groomer in my younger days so the upkeep was not an issue. What I am having trouble with though is a shampoo that will not cause her to itch. She is scratching her chest and causing sores. I’ve tried kitten shampoo, baby shampoo and just plain water and it remains the same.
